Steven Parker has joined the Xatśūll team as the Economic Development and Employment Coordinator.
Parker has spent the past ten years in investment and commercial banking in various places in B.C.
Recently his fiance got a position in Williams Lake with a different First Nations government.
In his new role, Parker will be responsible for the Xatśūll Heritage Site and the Whispering Willows campsite among other things.
He says he’s looking forward to seeing where he fits in the team and is excited to be a part of the Xatśūll staff.
“Steven brings a wealth of experience and energy. I’m heartened he’s chosen to join Xatśūll and I’m looking forward to seeing what he can add,” says Band Administrator Norman Champagne.
