The Soda Creek Indian Band (SCIB) is excited to announce the return of Sally Sellars as Lands Coordinator.
“I was the Lands Coordinator a few years ago and I had to resign due to sickness.”
Sellars says she’s really enjoyed the two weeks she’s been back so far and has done a lot of reading. She added she really enjoyed the corn picking as well and is happy to be working at SCIB again.
“I enjoy being around my family and community members and it’s good to see everyone who I haven’t seen in a while because I live out at 146 Mile House.”
She’s got a Bachelor of Science in Forestry with a major in Natural Resource Management, is a Registered Professional Forester and completed a Natural Resource Technology program at NVIT.
As Lands Coordinator, she’s part of the Treaty Department.
