Post Secondary Education

“Helping our members reach higher education and achieve their career goals.”

The Xatśūll Education Department supports members who wish to continue their learning after high school. Funding is available annually through Indigenous Services Canada, and applications are reviewed by the Health Department’s Education Committee.

Support may include tuition, books, and living allowances for eligible students attending college, university, or accredited training programs. The goal is to help our members gain the skills, knowledge, and qualifications needed to build successful careers and contribute to the community’s growth.

Additional supports or guidance may also be available to help with applications, course planning, or connecting students with other funding opportunities.

Annual Funding is limited, with applications being reviewed on the Friday of the second week in May, and a secondary review in January if funds are still available.

At Xatśūll, we’re proud to invest in our learners and encourage lifelong education as a pathway to empowerment and self-reliance.
